1. Purpose and application

This policy governs how Providers may use customer enquiries, contact details, marketplace information and communication tools obtained through Findoly. It applies to the Provider, its owners, employees, agents, subcontractors and anyone given access to the Provider account or unlocked lead data.

The Provider is responsible for ensuring that every authorised user understands and follows this policy.

2. Permitted use of lead information

Use customer information only to assess, quote for, schedule, provide or follow up on the specific service requirement submitted through Findoly. Reasonable follow-up may include clarifying scope, arranging an inspection, sharing a quotation and confirming whether the customer still needs the service.

Do not use a lead as a general marketing prospect or for unrelated sales. Access to a mobile number does not grant unlimited consent.

3. Responsible customer contact

  • Identify yourself and your business accurately.
  • Refer to the customer’s submitted requirement so the purpose is clear.
  • Contact at reasonable times and use proportionate follow-up.
  • Stop promotional or repeated contact when the customer declines or asks you to stop.
  • Respect applicable do-not-disturb, telemarketing, consumer and privacy requirements.
  • Avoid threatening, discriminatory, obscene, deceptive or high-pressure communication.

4. WhatsApp, calls and external messaging

The Portal may provide a link to call or open WhatsApp. That convenience does not mean Findoly sends the message or controls the conversation. The Provider must comply with the external service’s terms and applicable communication law.

Do not add customers to groups, broadcast lists or automated campaigns without appropriate permission. If calls are recorded, the Provider is responsible for any notice or consent required by law.

5. No sale, sharing or redistribution

Lead information may not be sold, rented, exchanged, published, uploaded to a lead marketplace, passed to an unrelated business or shared with another Provider. Limited sharing with the Provider’s staff or subcontractor is allowed only where necessary to serve the enquiry and where that person is bound to confidentiality and lawful use.

The Provider remains responsible for misuse by anyone it authorises.

6. Data minimisation and retention

Copy only the information reasonably needed for the enquiry. Avoid collecting identity documents, financial data, health information or other sensitive details unless necessary, lawful and transparently requested for the service.

Delete or securely archive customer information when the enquiry and any legitimate legal, accounting or warranty purpose ends. Do not retain an indefinite marketing database merely because a lead was unlocked.

7. Security of customer information

  • Limit access to personnel who need the information.
  • Use password-protected devices and accounts.
  • Do not expose customer data in public spreadsheets, screenshots or messaging groups.
  • Protect exported or copied data and delete unnecessary copies.
  • Report a lost device, compromised account or accidental disclosure promptly.

8. Accurate activity status and feedback

Use Provider Portal status and outcome fields honestly. Reasons such as invalid contact, fake or spam, duplicate lead, no response or already hired should reflect the Provider’s actual experience. Do not submit a false status to manipulate marketplace metrics, seek credits or harm a customer or competitor.

Notes must be factual, concise and professional. The Portal prohibits emoji and HTML in these fields to maintain plain operational records.

9. Quotations and service contracts

Provide clear information about scope, exclusions, price, GST, materials, deposits, timeline, cancellation, warranty and who will perform the work. Do not claim that Findoly guarantees your work or requires the customer to hire you.

Any service contract and payment is between the Provider and Customer unless Findoly expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

10. Prohibited conduct

  • Contacting restricted customers without an authorised unlock.
  • Scraping, bulk downloading or building a competing lead database.
  • Harassment, stalking, threats, discrimination or repeated unwanted contact.
  • Impersonation of Findoly, a customer, another Provider or a regulated professional.
  • False qualifications, fake reviews, misleading prices or bait-and-switch quotations.
  • Requesting OTPs, UPI PINs, CVV, passwords or unrelated financial credentials.
  • Using a customer’s data for lending, insurance, employment screening or unrelated profiling.
  • Submitting malicious links, malware or unlawful content.
  • Attempting to evade account, category, geography, credit or security controls.

11. Telemarketing and promotional compliance

The Provider is responsible for determining whether a call or message is transactional, service-related or promotional and for following applicable registration, header, template, consent, preference and opt-out rules. Findoly’s provision of a lead does not exempt the Provider from telecom or marketing law.

12. Children and vulnerable persons

Exercise heightened care where a requirement appears to involve a child, elderly person or vulnerable individual. Do not exploit vulnerability or request unnecessary personal information. Where a lawful guardian or authorised adult is required, verify that authority before proceeding.

Back to contents

13. Security and misuse incidents

Notify support@findoly.com promptly if customer information is lost, sent to the wrong person, accessed through a compromised account, published, sold or otherwise misused. Include what happened, the affected lead reference, when it occurred and the containment steps taken.

Do not conceal an incident or destroy evidence needed for a lawful investigation.

14. Monitoring and enforcement

Findoly may review system records, complaints, status patterns and security events to enforce this policy. Depending on severity, Findoly may warn the Provider, restrict a feature, suspend lead access, disable the account, preserve evidence, notify affected persons, cooperate with service providers or authorities, or pursue legal remedies.

15. Lead complaints and credits

Reporting an inaccurate, duplicate or invalid lead helps marketplace quality but does not automatically return credits. Payment and credit corrections follow the Cancellation and Refund Policy and verified system records.

16. Questions and complaints

Questions about permitted use or reports of lead-data misuse may be sent to support@findoly.com. Use the subject “Lead Data Concern” and include the relevant lead reference without unnecessarily repeating customer information.
